LCL Lockdown Battle Night 2009 was a BIG SUCCESS!

Champion of Lockdown Battle Night 2009: Lim Kah Sing aka KS!

Congratulations!

Ceekay and KS

KS and Jin, runner-up of Lockdown Battle Night 2009

I wanna say a big big "THANK YOU" to everyone who made the event such a success! Thanks so much to everyone who turned up for the event, as well as those who had helped me out during the event. I'm glad to see so many lockers turn up for the battles, and I'm truly proud of how far the locking scene in Singapore had improved to be. =)

Once again, big credits to Studio Wu for providing the studio, Poppers Action Party for their dope guest performance, Chunky for being an entertaining emcee + providing the dope filming camera, K-Lock + Fong + Michael Sim for being great fellow judges, DJ Smoke for all the dope music through the night, Jeanie and Sabrina for being such reliable scorekeepers and admission counter girls, Su Ling aka Forest for helping out with Audition Registration, Robin and K-Lock (once again) for help with logistics, Lesner Chua + Arjuna + Evelyn + Fong for helping out with the studio preparations, Elisha for giving out door gifts, Popper Ben for advice with regards to the door gifts, and everyone else who had played a part in making the event possible!

Here's a video of the final battles (credits to Daphne for uploading!):

The rest of the videos recorded on that day will be edited by Chunky, and will be released soon hopefully!

Keep the locking scene in Singapore growing, Lion City Lockers! May there be more of such events for LCL in the future!
